Tell us about yourself:

I owned and operated a successful sole proprietorship performing party entertainment, singing telegrams and comedy for twenty years. Today, I'm learning the professional speaking industry in order to become a fun, diverse speaker.

I'm very proud to be an Academy Member of The National Speaker's Association and looking forward to being educated by, studying with and learning from the greatest speakers in the world.

I realize I'm at the bottom of the totem poll in this industry and I'm very excited about the climb. The person I must become in order to be a successful speaker is what I'm most excited about. The opportunity to make a difference while making a living is a blessing I'm grateful for. I figure I'll give this a try for twenty years and if it doesn't work out, I'll join the army.

What should people talk to you about? :

The main two issues (I was going to say "things" but thought of Patricia Fripp---I'm learning already) I need to tackle before I can really get started are:

1. My name dilemma.
2. What my niche or target market is.

Those are the main issues my speaker family could help me with and talk to me about.
